- - - - Inbound tourism - Non-residents traveling within a country or area. Economically it produces foreign exchange inflows (wealth from abroad).
  - - - Outbound tourism - Residents of a particular country or area who travel to another country or area. Economically it produces loss of wealth because nationals spend their money abroad.
  - - - A Tourist Nucleus is a geographic place that generates an emitting or receiving tourist activity. The Emitting Nucleus is the one that generates tourist flow towards another place that has resources and offer to bring this flow, this place is the Receiving Nucleus. When a nucleus receives more tourists than it emits, it is called Net Receiving Nucleus.
