Should AI art be considered real art?
Thesis
AI art should not be considered real art due to the fact that there is a lack of skill or passion being put into it's creation.
Ai art invalidates true artists by showing that the hard work they put into making illustrations can easily be made by a machine.
3rd Argument: AI art lacks life
Art is typically made to express emotion, love, or simply just fondness for something. However ai art displays none of this, and only recreates a slightly distorted recreation of the original.
When people generate ai art, they generate the image, but they aren't able to generate the meaning and passion that was put into the original piece of art.
Ai image generators typically generate images that feel lifeless, that simply have more details added to them. They struggle to recreate art in a way that retains subtle details like the mood someone is supposed to feel when looking at a piece of art.
2nd Argument: AI image generators steal from artists
People are able to take an original piece of art, insert it into an image generator, and receive hundreds of ai generated versions of the same art. Essentially stealing from an artist who first made the piece.
When people use the Midjourney ai bot, they can steal someone's art style by simply adding the artist's name before the prompt they ant generated.
Many ai image generators are trained with pre-existing art. However this art is typically stolen, and the original artists go unpaid and uncredited.

Specialized Information
AI image generation is when people insert images into a generator, and the generator generates several images that are made to recreate the image you inserted into it.
Another form of ai image generation is when people type out a prompt like "dog sitting on a flower" and the image generator generates images that it thinks match the prompt.
1st Argument: AI art invalidates artists' and their art
People were able to submit ai generated art into competitions. Jason M. Allen submitted ai art into the Colorado State Fair one year and won the competition.
Ai art is usually considered a 'better' version of the original, which is simply false and disrespectful to the original artist.
