steps to create a 2D model
insert BASE VIEW
insert PROJECTED VIEWS
SAVE an empty version
add DIMENSION and use TEXT to label views
toggle to DRAWING workspace to create DRAWING>from DESIGN. click ASME to produce 3rd angle projection. (ISO produces 1st angle projection)
SAVE the completed work

use LINE to draw 2D profile
use SKETCH DIMENSION to specify the length of each line
CREATE SKETCH to select a 2D plane for sketching
EXCRUDE the 2D profile
SAVE an empty version
SAVE the completed work

equal measure drawimg, 120 degrees from one another. vertical lines will always stay vertical

: click and hold scrollbar and
drag mouse left or right to pan

: press shift key and click and hold the

properties of a 3D model in fision 360
right click on "body 1" in the browser
select "properties"
open the file you want to fid the properties of
refer to the properties window that pops up to see the area, density, mass, volume, physical material and apppearance
exporting 3D model for 3D printing
when the dialouge box pops up, select the 3D model to be saved for 3D printing
check that the format is STL, and uncheck "send to 3D print utility"
click on "utilities" > MAKE > 3D print
save the file in the desired location
ensure you are on design workspace
