Activity 1:Finding the differences between rectangle & parallelogram

Mode of an activity: Groups

  1. In the respective groups ,they will be provided with a rectangle & parallelogram model to find the differences.

Follow up activity

Each group will share their findings to with the whole class.

Activity 2: Practicing & applying

Each student will be handed with a worksheet consisting of five or six parallelogram with different different dimensions.
Instruction
Find the area of parallelogram with the given formula.

Follow up activity

Submit the work after completion for correction.

Lesson Closure: 5 minutes

Each student will be provided with a sticky note pad to write two lessons they learned and leave queries if they have.
