Roberto Nevilis, a teacher in Venice, Italy invented homework in 1905

this was used as a punishment for students who were lazy in class or for those who were disobedient or rude to their teacher.

Homework means , "work done at home," that's what it called that.

Homework. Something almost everyone in school— no matter what age, grade or where they live— all dread. But, why do we have homework? -Sophia Wecker

Does homework help the Kids?

homework is annoying and sometimes kids will have more then they can handle.

Students are usually mentally and physically drained when they come home from school, sports, or after they go somewhere after school and having homework assigned to them puts more even stress onto their plates.

there are some upsides to homework. Students who need extra help or practice on a topic or subject may benefit from additional work through their homework. Others might like some extra practice to better their understanding or to possibly get ahead in a subject to get higher test and quiz scores.

Although homework is annoying and isn’t always necessary, we need to continue to do our best and complete this task because it will benefit us later in life.

I think also no because if there is a lot of homework the kids would not get sleep to function there brains for the day,

I think that teachers are smart because some kids don't listen to them in class they can give them homework so they listen next time.

Homework could make the student lose sleep and forget everything that day

some kids can manage there time that would be better

if say you have a sport it can rush then and they can lose sleep

sometime there is so much homework they will lose sleep

Dose it do anything to the kids.
