History and Background
The first school uniform was introduced in 1552 in England at the Christ Hospital School.
Teachers and School Staff believed that it would give the school a sense of inclusion and togetherness.
Uniforms were also made to make people look like they were associated with the upper class. At one of england's top schools, Eton, children were required to wear top hats until dress code eased.
Uniforms are driven by tradition and sometimes, schools keep their traditional uniforms.

Students should wear uniforms because it has been shown that students focus more on their academics and not on their clothes which can have a lasting effect on their futures.
Uniforms should be worn by students because they have proven to relieve peer pressure and reduce bullying and have proven that schools with uniforms have better behaved students, which could have a lasting effect on their futures.
2nd Argument- Wearing uniforms enhances school pride, unity, and community spirit.
It helps students feel like they are all part of one community.
They can feel safe and know that there is always something to rely on, like a safe space where they can go without worrying about anything.
It helps boost self esteem and pursue a great education due to the fact that there is less bullying over clothes and students can focus on learning.
Students can make more friends because they feel safer and have more community.
1st Argument-Uniforms have been proven to reduce bullying and peer pressure
Students at schools without uniforms struggle with being bullied over their clothes, which leads to peer pressure.
Bullying could lower the self-esteem of the student and lead to many things like depression, and many other very unfortunate things.
Schools with Uniforms, have less bullying which leads to better learning environment.
Uniforms help students have more fun at school without worrying about their clothes.

Uniforms overall are not enforced to be worn in every school, but if schools can enforce it, it can definitely have many benefits like improved behavior and better marks
