Albendazole
Contraindications
patients with a history of hypersensitivity to albendazole, benzimidazoles, or any component of the formulation.

Indication
cystic hydatid disease of the liver, lung, and peritoneum resulting from the larval form of the dog tapeworm, Echinococcus granulosus

Mechanism of action
selective binding to beta-tubulin of parasitic worms, causing their immobilization and death.

. loss of appetite

Indication
. It used to treat roundworm and whipworm infections.
. to treat pinworm, whipworm, roundworm, and hookworm infections.

Mechanism of action
It inhibiting the production of microtubules via binding to colchicine binding-site of β-tubulin and thereby blocking polymerization of tubulin dimers in the intestinal cells of parasites.

Pentimidine
Contraindications
. Previous history of an anaphylactic reaction to pentamidine in inhaled or parenteral form
. use of pentamidine with other nephrotoxic drugs like cyclosporine, cisplatin, aminoglycoside antibiotics, beta-lactam antibiotics, amphotericin B, and indomethacin should be closely monitored or avoided
Side effects
. Stomach problems, such as nausea and vomiting, or loss of appetite
Indication
. history of one or more previous episodes of Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia. A CD4+ count of 200 cells/mm^3 or less
