Balanced
Worked in a group with other people to help plan different events, such as finding a venue for "Neon Night" school dance
Helped brainstorm ideas for school events, and was able to communicate through the student council group chat to express my ideas
Remained committed to the student council committee by attempting to contact teachers and students, despite lack of communication between the board members, and committee, as well as staff
Allowed myself to step out of my comfort zone and work collaboratively, while also taking on public speaking skills in order to communicate my own ideas efficiently and effectively
10,000 Steps Per day
Goal: To help myself become more organised by observing and reflecting upon my own actions, learning how I work on a day-to-day basis, and creating more of a strict schedule for myself using small goals to motivate me, to help make time for my personal interests aswell.
Goal: To become more confident in myself, my own ideas, and practicing communicating my ideas effectively by working on skills like working collaboratively, and public speaking
Commitment and Perseverance
Strength and Growth
I stayed committed to reflecting in my evidence journal atleast once a month, regardless of whether or not I met my goal for the month. Here I was able to identify what went wrong, and realise what I could do to improve in the coming months.
I was able to learn more about how I function academically on a day-to-day basis (in terms of procrastinating, sticking to a schedule, what helps motivate me, etc), which helped me understand how I should better myself both health wise, as well as how I can improve my own schedule to increase physical activity, and productivity

St Patricks Day Parade
Goal: To help maintain the sense of community within SIS by organising an activity that involves the joining of different grades, with older children from the OPG helping out, as well as helping our school further align with the world surrounding us by donating to human rights causes.

Engagement with Global Issues
Worked with my partner as well as collaborated with the school Amnesty group. Together, we communicated efficiently and overcame issues to ultimately provide this event for the younger grades.
Donated to a human rights cause
Despite difficulties with scheduling with mock exam and final exam preparation, we remained committed to this CAS project, despite the amount of planning and effort it would take including: contacting teachers, contacting parents, sorting out finances, organising snacks, etc.
Planned out meetings with teachers, the Dean of Students, the IT department, and Security in the building. Additionally, planned individual roles of each member and when each part would get done. Planned out timelines for the event, etc.
Gained skills like conflict management, event planning, scheduling, organisation, management of finances, open-mindedness, working in a group
Remained strong and committed despite mishaps along the way

Working Collaboratively
Goal: To complete this activity proactively and efficiently, as well as actively take responsibility for the environment that we will in by not only helping recycling hundreds of bottles and cans, but also being responsible for the ethical choices and actions that we make by donating the money that we receive to a charity
Planned out days that each member would take out the recycling, communicated efficiently initially, to manage mishaps or confusion
Stayed committed despite lack of communication between partners. Although it was getting more difficult to schedule in a time every week, I kept taking out the recycling to keep up with my original goal.
Although we had issues with communication, worked collaboratively to come up witha. realistic and viable solution: I would take out the PANT even twi weeks instead of every week with a partner, and keep up the activity on my own
Goal: to meet new people from new cultures, and experience different social situations within a large event in which I will need to apply a variety of social abilities, whether that may be effective communication, conflict resolution, empathy, or active listening and being aware of my surroundings
Despite not being able to donate to a charity, managed to give the money to someone who seemed like they were in need
Challenges and Skills
Initiating and Planning
In the planning process, was able to learn a lot about Irish culture and customs from an Irish staff member that was helping us, which helped e meet my goal of learning about new cultures
Also helped brainstorm ideas for things we could do to keep the younger children entertained
Worked in groups but also split of to do independent work, allowed me to gain communication and conflict resolution skills due to having to speak with many parents and their children. Also was able to use quick thinking skills to keep children and guests entertained.
