The cognitive demands in CBI are: Creating self-reliance and positive engagement with learning in each student, to link the previous student learn to the current material and creating tools to solve problems by meaningful experiences or their thinking.
The cognitive demands in CLIL for students are: Understanding the relationship between topics, how to solve problems and making a logical argument to defend their critical posture.
In CLIL lessons is that students take responsibility for their actions (aim) and to take it to practice in real conditions. The assessment is design and makes a poster about paper consumption, students are asked to assess each other's posters.
Assessment in CBI is not clear, but students have a final project in which they need to explore different topics covered in the theme unit, it could be a debate, poster or oral presentation.
