96 UCAS tariff points, CCC at A levels, MMM at BTEC or a Merit in your T-Level.

Study Style
You’ll get real-world experience through our network of over 400 schools in Gloucestershire and beyond. You can complete placements and volunteer in animal shelters, schools, colleges, youth centres, museums and residential homes.
Your practice and professional development will be underpinned by lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops. You’ll complete a range of assessments such as written assignments, individual and group presentations, case studies, blogs and in-class exams.

Mature Students
We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants, although some entry requirements may still apply for Professionally Accredited Courses. We accept Access to Higher Education Diplomas and make offers on an individual basis.

Industry Links
You’ll put theory into practice on work placements and volunteering opportunities. Students have worked in a wide variety of places including Camp America, animal shelters, schools, museums and charities, gaining valuable experience and contacts. You can also partake in additional training on topics such as first aid and the Makaton language system – gaining unique skills for your future career.
Trips and Experiences
Our Francis Close Hall campus has been part of our heritage for 150 years and it is home to our active community of experienced teachers and practitioners. While just a 10 minute walk from Cheltenham town centre, you’ll find everything you need on site, including IT labs with cutting edge equipment, a specialist library, café and shop.
