Field Community
A field habitat is an open and flat area that contains grasses and other non-woody plants
A field receives enough sunlight. Therefore, plants can carry out photosynthesis to provide food to various animals living in the same habitat.

Ecosystem
A community of organisms interacting with one another and with their environment.
Habitats
A habitat is a particular place that plants and animals live and reproduce.
There are many different types of natural habitats on earth where plants and animals live and reproduce.
A desert habitat, a pond habitat and a forest habitat.
A habitat must provide the following conditions for living organisms to live and reproduce
Food, shelter, space, water and air.
There are many populations of different species of organisms living in the same habitat.
When a different populations of organisms live in the same habitat, they form a community.
In a community, they must interact with one another for their survival, so they are interdependent.
However, the conditions in one habitat can be different from other habitats. Therefore, organisms in one habitat may not be able to survive in another habitat if they cannot adapt to the conditions in their new habitat.
A habitat can also be man-made. A man-made habitat is called a artificial habitat.
EXAMPLE - An aquarium, a terrarium or a man-made cage is an artificial habitat.
In an artificial habitat, humans create suitable conditions for other living organisms to survive and reproduce.
