DIMENSIONS, TOLERANCES & ASSEMBLIES SUMMARY - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Parallel Dimensioning | It consist of multiple dimensions that measure from a common reference surface that is known as [Datum]
      - Superimposed Running Dimensioning | It is used as a simplified version of the Parallel Dimensioning by reducing the drawings from the space. It has a small circle as an origin indicated from whatever perspective.
      - Chain Dimensioning | It is used mainly when the object isn't accumulated by any tolerances.
      - Combined Dimensioning | It is the combination use of the Parallel & Chain Dimensioning. Their purpose remains the same.
      - Small Feature Dimensioning | For details that are too small to see from the dimensioning objects, arrow heads are placed outside of the extension lines along with the size.
      - Multiple Features Dimensioning | A identity known as [N x Diameter] is use to dimension multiple identical features that are the same, such as a circle.
      - Radii Dimensioning | Identified with the capital R, its used to label and dimension the radius with the centre located within the drawing.
      - Circle, Arc & Hole Dimensioning | They are usually measured through their diameter and radius. Circle = Diameter & Arc = Radius.
      - Angle Dimensioning | Angled surfaces are dimensioned by either the coordinate method or the angular method. Coordinate is use for two location distance of the angle and angular is use for only one location and the angle itself.
- - - - Bilateral Tolerance | Bilateral is allowed to have 2 directions of specified dimensioning. The upper and lower limit can be subtracted to find the tolerance.
      - Unilateral Tolerance | Unilateral is only allow to have 1 direction.
      - Limit Tolerance | Both the upper and lower limits of the dimensions have already been specified.
