THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF SEED PLANTS
WITH FLOWERS
KNOWN AS ANGIOSPERMS
THEY PRODUCE SEEDS IN FLOWERS
FOR EXAMPLE, APPELS ORANGES AN LEMONS
WITHOUT FLOWERS
KNOWN AS GYMNOSPERMS
THEY PRODUCE SEEDS IN CONES NOT IN FLOWERS
FOR EXAMPLE PINE TREES, CYPRESS DOUGLAS FIR AND GINKO BILOBA
THEY REPRODUCE EITH SPORES WWHICH ARE SPECIAL CELLS TTHAT HAVE A HARD COVERING
FOR EXAMPLE MOSSES AND FERNS
Plants make photosynthesis to make their own food
THE EARTH IS FULL OF PLANTS
PLANTS AND ALGAE PRODUCE OXYGEN
Plants need minerals, salts, water, carbon dioxide and the light and energy from the sun
