      - Before I define the term transportation, I will let the students think individually about transportation. After that I will let them whisper their ideas with their partner, then refine their ideas. After having done that I will allow volunteers to share their views on transportation. Then, I will write on the board what students say about transportation.
      - Based on their knowledge we will try to define the term transportation together.
      - (The movement of people, animals and goods from one place to another is called Transportation)
      - There are three modes of transportations found in Bhutan. They are; air transport, land transport and water transport
      - Activity 1. instructions;
        
        ✔ You will be divided into six groups with four members each.
        
        ✔ I will display an image of three modes of transportation using a projector.
        
        ✔ Each one of you will carefully observe the images.
        
        ● First two groups will discuss land transportation. (Definition with examples).
        
        ● Second two groups will discuss water transportation.
        
        ● Third two groups will discuss air transportation.
        
        (Each member is expected to participate actively)
        
        ✔ I will select one member from each group to present your findings.
        
        ✔ You will be given 5 minutes to complete the discussion.
        
        However, if you complete the given task before the given time raise your hand so that I can give you another activity.

        Follow up activity
        Exactly after five minutes I will stop them from discussion and let the student share their points. I will also supplement and provide suggestions on their given responses.
        
        Extended Learning Activity
        Compare the mode of transportation between India and Bhutan.
        
        Activity 2.
        
        Instruction:
        
        ● You will stay in the same group but the first three groups will discuss modern transportation. Other three groups will discuss the traditional/ olden mode of transportation.
        
        ● In this you will discuss its advantages and disadvantages.
        
        ● You will be provided with a sheet and each member will take turns to write your points but the points shouldn’t be repeated. You will get 5 minutes to complete the task.
        
        ● To make their points more authentic and precise, all members will discuss their points within 2 minutes. After that I will let you share the answers to the whole class.
        
        ● Whichever group completes the task before the given time can raise your hand so that I can give you another activity.
        
        Monitoring
        I will go around and provide necessary assistance.
        
        Follow up activity
        ● Once the discussion is completed I will let the students share their points and also supplement.

        What modifications might be made to the current means of transportation in the future?
        
        Closure.
        
        I will pick some volunteers to summarize the lesson. After that I am going to provide them a small paper and will ask them to write their doubts and later put it in the box so that I will clarify their questions. As a homework, when you reach home ask your parents what type of transportation they use and which one is more comfortable

      - Students: expected answer (Land transportation).
      - Teacher: Do you know any other mode of transportation found in Bhutan?
      - Students: expected answer (Air transportation and water transportation).

        So, today we are going to discuss about transportations in our country.
        
        ✔ Firstly, we will define the term transportation together.
        
        ✔ After that we are going to learn about different modes of transportation in Bhutan that are land transportation, water transportation and air transportation.
        
        ✔ To make ourselves familiarized with the topic we will do some activities.
