LEF Approach
Basic Ingredients of The LEF approach
The function and Facilitation of the brain
the IS-DC Model: Showing Photo's while guiding groups
The Set-Up of the space and its effect on group processes
The Six components for creating a LEF session
The three systems of the brain
The Reptilian Brain: is directly responsible for our survival instinct and transmits primary behaviour
The Limbic system: is involved in the motivation and regulation of emotions. It determines your emotions and commands your behavior unconsciously
The Neocortex: is involved in higher functioning, such as sensory perception, (Abstract)thinking, reasoning, analysis and language.
Different brian patterns take place in different parts of the brain. LEF future centre developed a model, which converts the reactions of specific images of the brain, into relevant parametes to indicat how wall projections are used.
Phase 1: Individual convergent = contributing own interest and point of view
Phase 2: Individual divergent = Open to possibilities
Phase 3: social divergent = 'Brainstorming'
Phase 4: Social Convergent = Building consensus
