Crit C 3&4
part 3
In stage 3 of our design, we planned to complete our 2D and 3D design, and start working on the scale of these models. The two Heads of 3D and 2D designing planned to check their scales against each other, and finalize their designs. We also planned to finish our discussion about the centerpiece of the courtyard (plan)
This stage went surprisingly smoothly as compared to the previous stages. While the 3D designer had to take a few extra days to finish up his model, once he was done, the two designers quickly figured out the scale. Since both designers were able to finish their previous tasks, we were able to hold the aforementioned discussion about the centerpiece of the courtyard, and after some deliberation, we chose a fake tree to be the centerpiece.

Changes
Changes 1
As our first design we had an idea of adding a big tree in the middle of the courtyard to resemble our school and can go down in history, while also adding these little food stand by the principal office, and having chessboards scattered around the courtyard with table to accompany them
changes 2
Then came phase two of our design which was right before we had the meeting with Mr.Laney we decided not to add the food stand since it would not serve any purpose and it would probably be robbed by a little kid, this would also make the snack bar pointless
Changes 3
Change number three was right after the meeting with Mr.Laney where we earned a lot of knowledge, of them being that planting a big tree is not possible since right under the middle and high school courtyard is the parking lot where all the cars are parked at, and if the weight surpasses the weight limit the campus might not turn out well, therefore to prevent us from destroying the school we decided not to use the trees
changes 4
changes 5
This is when all of our hope was shattered when we had a discussion with mr.Ansel where we talked about the limit of water usage the same as trees we had the same problem but this time not only that but our group think its ugly to have a moss covered pool so then we removed that and went back to the chess idea

Now having nothing on our courtyard our teacher saved us by giving us the idea of aquaponics and moss, these two are both water related which encouraged us a lot since our idea was to put a pool, it now not only can we have a pool but we can also have a pool that serves us purpose and can have moss on it to make it fit in.
part 1
In the 1st stage of our design, we planned to conduct preliminary research on budgeting and design choices. We also planned to either paste or utilize our research within our designs or our budget.
(PLAN)
Our research took longer than anticipated, forcing us to pull back the deadline for our budget. We also made this decision to allow the blueprint designers and the Director of Finance and Budgeting to be able to communicate and see if any of the proposed changes to the courtyard would be unrealistic(the designers may be able to find relevant info on this through their preliminary research on design choices), so that the lead budgeter would be able to remove any discarded features off the budget.

part 2
While the design process of the 2D model went mostly as planned, the same couldn't be said of the 3D model. We wanted to use our time wisely and be more time-efficient, which meant the deadline for the 3D model had to be extended. Our budget research also had to be delayed since we decided to have a discussion on what to place in the center of the courtyard.

In Stage 2, we planned to begin designing specific parts of the 2D and 3D model, namely the detailed objects such as the chair and object in the middle, and continue work on the budget and budget research.
(Plan)
part 4
In this stage, we managed to improve on the designs by offering a fresh perspective on them, while offering constructive criticism to each of our group members. We adhered to our plan quite closely in this stage, which helped us manage our time and we managed to progress to the next stage ahead of schedule.

In this stage, we planned to discuss among ourselves and improve our designs and plans. We planned to rotate our roles so that each member could look over and improve the design that they were currently looking over. (Plan)
