Clauses:
When the IF clause is first, a comma follows it. It is used to describe a possible action or situation.
Ex: If you went to the camps, you would make new friends.
If + Past simple + , + would/wouldn't + infinitive.
When the result clause is first, there isn't a comma.
It is used to describe a result of the effect.

If the weather wasn't so bad, we would go to the park.
If you really loved me, you would buy me a diamond ring.
If I knew where she lived, I would go and see her.
Would you use solar energy if fossil fuels weren't available?
We would have cleaner air if we drove electric cars.
