What is global warming?
Global warming is constituted by the absorption of solar energy by the earth. The earth, when heated, releases heat into the atmosphere in the form of infrared rays. However, part of this heat is remitted to the earth's surface and the consequence is its overheating.
What generates global warming is due to the fact that the combustion process of coal or oil combines carbon with oxygen from the air to produce CO2. To a lesser extent, the clearing of land for agriculture, industry and other human activities has increased concentrations of greenhouse gases.
