Design Thinking
Stage 3: ITERATE
-
-
Combine the understanding of the problem space and target user with your imagination to generate solution concept
-
-
-
-
-
-
Stage 1: EMPATHISE
-
Understand the way people do things and why they do it, their physical and emotional needs, how they think about things and what they value
-
Casual conversation, listen more and talk less, ask open-ended questions
-
-
Stage 2: DEFINE
It brings clarity and focus us on the design, what you have learnt about your target user
-
-
-
-
Stage 4: PROTOTYPE
-
Early stage - questions are broad and create low resolution prototypes that are quick and cheap to make
-
-Start building
-Don't spend too long on one prototype
- Identify a variable ( answer a question)
- Build with the user in mind
-
Stage 5: TEST
-
-
-
HOW TO TEST?
- Show, not tell -Don't explain your thinking or reasoning for your prototype
- Have them talk through their experience- e.g ( tell me what you are thinking when you are doing this)
-
- Follow up with a question - What they say about it and the question they have
-
-
STEP 1
Identify a design goal
-
-
-
-
DESIGN and PROTOTYPE
Sketch design again , preliminary model
