- - - - Culture
        
        A whole complex of distinctive spiritual, material, intellectual and emotional features that characterize a society or social group. It includes not only the arts and letters, but also modes of life, the fundamental rights of the human being, values systems, tradi7ons and beliefs.
      - Culture Heritage
        
        The cultural heritage of a people includes the works of its artists, architects, musicians, writers and scientists and also the work of anonymous artists, expressions of the people’s spirituality, and the body of values which give meaning to life. It includes both tangible and intangible works through which the creativity of that people finds expression: languages, rites, beliefs, historic places and monuments, literature, work of art, achieves and libraries.
      - Heritage
        
        “A set of goods whether material, inmaterial or spiritual that reflect people’s cultural legacy and it is for them to decide if they are worthy, according to their nature and character: historical, social, identitarian...” (Fontal, 2013, p.10).
        “Heritage is our legacy from the past, what we live with today, and what we pass on the future genera7ons”. (UNESCO)
    - - Heritage is also what we pass over the other future generations.
      - But above all, it is a social construction based on the present.
      - Heritage is defined as something which has been inherited from our ancestors.

    - - The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) seeks to encourage the identification, protection and preservation of cultural and natural heritage around the world considered to be of outstanding value to humanity.
    - - Natural Heritage
        
        Geological and physiographical formations (habitat of threatened species of animals and plants).
        
        Natural sites or precisely delineated natural areas of outstanding universal value from the point of view of science, conservations or natural beauty.
        
        Physical and biological formations.
      - Cultural Heritage
        
        Groups of buildings.
        
        Sites: works of man or the combined works of nature and man, and areas including archeological sites.
        
        Monuments: architectural works, works of monumental sculpture and painting, elements or structures of an archaeological nature, inscriptions, cave dwellings.
      - Practices, representations, expressions, knowledge, skills - as well as the instruments, objects, artefacts and cultural spaces associated therewith - that communities recognize as part of their cultural heritage.
        
        ICH is transmiaed from generation to generation, is constantly recreated by communities and groups in response to their environment, their interaction with nature and their history, and provides them with a sense of identity and continuity, thus promoting respect for cultural diversity and human creativity.
        
        Performing arts;
        
        Social practices, rituals and festive events;
        
        Oral traditions and expressions, including language as a vehicle of the intangible cultural heritage;
        
        Knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe;
        
        Traditional craftsmanship.
