Sugar Act 1764
Needed to pay money off war debt from Seven Years´ War.
Britain colonies taxed colonies and forced British soldiers to move to private homes.

Townshend Act 1767
Due to the failure of the Stamp Act, the Townshend Act was created to raise more renevue and the refusal from NY.
Colonists were furious about the tax and created their own set of laws that went againsts Britain´s policies.
Materials such as glass, tea, paper, and manufactured goods were taxed by Britain lawmakers.
Stamp Act 1765
Legal and commercial documents needed stamp to show tax to colonies.
Britain wanted to revenue their colony but taxing materials bought from colonies

Britain closed the Boston Harbor until the tea was paid off.

Tea Act 1773
The Boston Tea Party was a poltical protest that caused several American colonists to become angry and furious at Britain,
