Opening Scene
Cinematography- on Shigurhs first on screen kill there are multiple quick shots of him and the police man, makes it very intense
Micro-analyse- Bell talks about old timers in opening g speech saying they never wore a gun, trying to say how much the world has changed, contrast of old spaghetti western with the dessert and the police car, blank facial expression on Shigurh when killing proves how heartless he it, Shigurh is very flexible being able to get out of his handcuffs easily, done it before
Narrative Themes- first shows the audience how ruthless Shigurh is and sets the tone for his killing nature
Mise En Scene- when the blood spirts he makes sure it doesn't get on his shoes, common theme through, Shigurh is dressed in dark colours signifies death also very cowboy styled boots, Old time serif look with the badge and brown uniform

Sound- when Shigurh kills the police man faint non-diegetic sound but the main sound is the diegetic sound of the man choking and boots screeching on the floor
Editing- When shigurh is killing the police man there are many quick close ups edited in a short sequence
Closing Scene
Micro-analyse- the dream almost is like the next chapter in his life is death, saying in his dream about his father and how he was also in law enforcement retried and died, the dream is speculated by some that, that is the same for Bell, he talks about how his father is waiting for him no matter where he goes which could be death. However he woke up before he could join his father which shows that he still has some living to do. Talks about him being on a horse (old times)
Mise En Scene- Stereotypical old house, wooden, China, old fashioned curtains, doesnt have his hat on (retired)
Cinematography- only a couple of shots in this scene just close ups of him and his wife as they talk
Sound- constant clock ticking in background to show that Bell has all the time he has left to do what he wants
Narrative Themes- that Bell has come to question but also accepted his remaindering life, constantly saying that he doesn't fit in, now talking about his dream and it signifying death.

Ideology- Bells ideology in this final scene is that of confusion, he is confused and believes that he doesn't fit into the modern day of age and also confused of what his dream is about even though it is speculated about death
