Intentional premature ending of another persons life it is either a patentiuent consistent to it due to a terminal or incurable illness which is voluntary euthansia
A patient that does not request or consent to the ending of the or life because they are in a coma or Vega give state is able to end their life prematurely non voluntary
Passive and act- Rachel’s argues that passive euthansia is actually worse as it is cruel and the process of dying may be long and drawn out
Their is a moral difference between carrying out an action and merely omitting (stopping) carrying out an action
Some argue that people within a vegative state is still human but not entirely a person so euthanasia is a logical conclusion.while griseofulvin and Boyle argue that a person in a vegative state has not lost what makes them a person. Humanity and person hood are one.

All life is sacred and all human life is made in the image and likeness of god (imago die) we are all made with a spark of divinity
Strong sanctity of life is often known as the prolife this argues that all life is sacred because it posses a god given soul from the moment of conception , all innocent life must be protected .
Weak sanctity of life argues that killing an innocent person out of love is not murder , murder requires a motive and intention. No one deserves to endure a life of extreme pain .
Quality of life is when human beings should be able to live dignified lives and end life with dignity to respect a persons desire to live or die .

Daniel maguire says that it is important to respect and value a]life but should not be obliged to prolong it in every situation. However he rejected that god alone has the power over life and death. We give people pacemakers and intervene to save life and preserve it there is no real difference between ending life and preserving it

Natrual law would believe that preservation of life is a primary precepts therefore euthansia would go against this

Ending ones life ends the possibility of pursing other precepts to educate the young and worship god
Euthansia is an apparent good that seems to alleviate pain but in fact fails to reach the greater good
The catholic chruch rejects euthansia and argues that it is a rejection of gods sovereignty and loving plan

While situation ethics would say that personhood matters , wauility of life is more important than sanctity of life
On many occasions the person is no longer truly present in situations of euthansia and therefore taking the life is permitted
