Lunar new year, which is the first full moon each year, it is when the moon came and helped them.
Do
Every night, at 8, people would kneel at their doorstep/window, somewhere that they can see the moon, and raise a glass of water to the sky to honour the moon.
At the first full moon at every month, people gather together as a community, and give each other food, eat together and give them gifts. This is to thank the moon for her givings.

A legend: A long time ago, there was nothing on earth except for the Sun. The land was dry and water was evaporating quickly. The people became hungrier and thirstier. They gathered the last of the water and offered it to the Sun's sister, the moon, in hopes that she would help them. She did, and created the night, where it could be dark and cool. She also created living things and plants.
