They have many festivals like Tuski, Samayo and the Hanareru.
Tuski is the festival to celebrate the moon, because people who believe in Obakesim worship the moon too.
Samayo is when the ghosts come back to earth to check on their family and friends and on the night before, all families must turn on lights all night for the spirits to find their home.

They have a book, named Tamashī no sho that tells the story of the creation of the universe, the date of the festivals, places etc.

They believe that after you die, you either turn into a good ghost, a bad ghost or you reincarnate into a human that Obake Kami will choose.
There are two types of good ghosts - first one is a good ghost, where you get to choose to make a wish for someone you love who is on earth, and the Yoi good ghost who can choose to make 2 wishes or reincarnate into a human family of their choice (can't be the family from before).
There are two types of bad ghosts - first one is a bad ghost, who will wander in the ghost world doing nothing until their loved ones forget about them and they will disappear. The Warui ghost will receive a punishment that Obake Kami will choose.
They believe the universe was created by Obake Kami and watches over earth from the moon. And the Sirius stars is the star of the spirit of the first dead person on earth.

On the 11th of November, at 11:11am, all believer must pray for 11 minutes and 11 seconds exactly to Obake Kami
When they pray, they can pray at their homes, on any carpet, with a painting of a moon somewhere in the room and 1 single candle behind them.
They can also pray in special Obakeism buildings that are called Yūrei Tera, a stone building will everything a person would need to pray to Obake Kami.
