Why does the religion value beans? In ancient Arizona, beans were a valuable commodity and currency amongst the animals and humans. Unfortunately, a war broke out between the chipmunks and humankind over control of the bean fields. The chipmunks, who had a natural affinity for beans, had been stealing them from humans for years, causing a shortage and sparking a conflict. As the war raged on, the humans were losing ground until Peely appeared on the battlefield. Peely had been summoned by the humans, who believed in his legendary powers. With a single wave of his hand, Peely created a magical shield around the human army, protecting them from the chipmunk's attacks. The chipmunks, who had never seen such a powerful creature, fled the battle, and the humans were able to reclaim their bean fields. From that day on, Peely became a hero to the humans, and his legend lived on for generations to come.
