PROGRAM GOAL:
OBJECTIVE 2:
Participants will find meaning in the process of job seeking. They will acknowledge and value the importance of research as well as skill-building to be job-ready. They had established a more direct contact/communication with employers, and they will be on their radar.
Output 1: Participants will be aware of their interests and will highlight them and prioritize them when looking for jobs.
Activity 1: Adult-led activity Youths identify their interests by doing a self-reflection. Participants will list their interests and the ways they believe they can bridge their interests with a job.

Output 3: Participants will be more confident in approaching a professional and confident asking the right questions.
Activity 3: Youth-led Youths will reach out to potential employers in the second week and ask them relevant questions about the job.
OBJECTIVE 3: Support network established between youths and the elderly of the town to resort to when needing assistance and guidance with life-related situations.

Output 1: Youths understand that humans share common experiences, and they are capable of finding solutions to life challenges.
Activity 1: Youths engage in conversation with the elderly in the community to learn about life experiences and a circle to share advice. Youth will express their needs and ask questions to know how to solve certain situations.
OBJECTIVE 1: Youths have the skills to find solutions to challenging life situations. They can also guide others through this journey and lead them.
Output 2: Youths will have gained two perspectives/skills: to be a mentee and a mentor. They will be introduced to adaptive leadership: normalize asking and receiving questions, facing challenges, finding solutions, and leading with certainty.
Activity 2: Adult-and-youth-driven With the assistance of assigned mentors, youths will go to their schools and develop an activity that will involve other peers their age. Youths will share their scenarios and guide their peers through these scenarios. Their goal will be to provide context and solutions to the challenges presented and explain why they think their way of solving these issues are the right ones.

Youths from the ages of 12 to 18 will graduate and be equipped with the personal, professional, and community skills needed to lead in their jobs and achieve quality employment and dignified livelihoods.
