There is a connotation that women always create an emotional connection when they have sex and men do not but the understanding that reproductive coercion can happen by both men and women but in the case of the reading there is a patriarchal narrative that keep people in the social class they are in.
If a cisgender woman gets married to a cisgender man their lifespan is shortened. ( I didn't know this and it is making me seriously consider everything) because women go and work a 9-5 at work then come home and work another 9-5 caring for everyone in the house. It weathers on the body and can lead to diminished health.
The Nobodys
When we look into the question of who is a nobody in America, i think they are talking about undocumented migrants, those in lower socioeconomic classes, anyone who isn't that mainstream idea.
Children can be argued to not have agency as we as adults don't give children consent to do anything.
Typology of Violence: Collective types of violence include, social, political, and economic. The prison system is an example of collective violence and we can look deeper into how violence doesn't always have to be physical.
Interpersonal violence: A lot of time we think of domestic violence but the examples that we used to look at specifically on mizzou's campus where hazing and sexual assault are present.
