October 1922, around 30,000 fascists marched on Rome to have Mussolini put in power and King Victor made him the leader after widespread violence and threatening an uprising.
Fascism is the political philosophy that exalts nation and often race above the individual and is led by an authoritarian government.
After taking power he abolished democracy and outlawed all other political parties and strikes. He used terror, violence, and his secret police to enforce his policies and jail his opponents. He also has the government censor radio stations and publications to broadcast only Fascist doctrines.
