Soaring down the ice, I take a slapshot
The slapshot goes bar down, tying putting us at a mere one goal deficit
Proficient on draws, I win the draw
In a series of plays, we make our way down the ice
At the blue line, my defence takes a slap shot, puck trickling out
I get the rebound, shoot, and score
Game tied, 5 minutes left
Overtime is our destiny.
I soar down the ice, on a 2 on 1, opposed to passing, I shoot, missing the net
The opposing team picks it up after an awkward bounce, taking it down the ice, scoring
Game OVER!
