Stored energy
Stored energy is energy that is kept but not used yet
There are two types of stored energy
Potential energy
Potential energy is energy stored while stationary
Kinetic energy
Kinetic energy is energy stored while moving
Energy
Energy is 'the ability to do work'
There are many types of energy
Light energy
Luminous
A luminous object is an object that emits its own light
Non-luminous
A non-luminous object is an object that can't emit its own light and relies on a luminous object to reflect light on them
Refraction
Refraction is when light has to show an object in two mediums e.g. a pencil in water so the image breaks
Reflection
Reflection is when the light energy bounces off the object into our eyes so we can see it.
