Money
In Stave 2 we see how Scrooges love of money caused him to give up his fiance Belle as he cared for his money more than for her.

Stave 2 - Scrooges sister at the start, and then the family which Scrooge could have had, if his love of money had not got the better of him
Stave 3 - Bob Cratchits family, they were poor, but still a happy family
Greed
Shown in Scrooge
Is seen in Stave 1 where Scrooge's greed of money and making money leads him to turning away people who were asking for money for the poor and being angry when his clerk asks for one day off a year.
At this time, people were trying to overcome the cruelty of workhouses, however Scrooge thought they were good things, showing that he had a cruel heart that thought only for greed of money.

Change
In the final stave, Scrooge attempts to change himself and be more generous and happy. He tries to forget his terrible past but look for a change for the better in the future.
Poverty
Is shown throughout all the staves with Scrooge's clerk and the situation in London with the poorhouses at the time.
Bob Cratchit is shown as in poverty throughout the story until Scrooge helps him after his change at the end of the story
