Small scale farmers have: less access to capital, less access to public funded services such as canals, less education (unable to negotiate favourable contracts and solving disagreements)
Large-scale farming corporation: buy more fertile land near canals, use more machinery and hire less people (increase profit margins), use more expensive farming technology, use lawyers to settle land disputes, investments, use technology to communicate with suppliers and buyers
