Peace treaties
Peace was finally declared via five treaties
signed separately by the defeated powers
All of them signed
in palaces on the outskirts of Paris
known collectively as the Treaties of Paris
Treaty of Versailles (1919)
signed with Germany

by the German people as a humiliation
The principle of collective security
led to the creation of the League of Nations
Its objectives were
to establish international relations
in which peace was the fundamental principle
