      - if it is inactive it simply looks like a dark tattoo
      - if the power is in use they glow up
      - each rune is different and therefore glows in different colors

        where was she born?
        
        born on empyrion in the royal mansion/castle/city

        in her childhood her memory was wiped
        
        why was her memory wiped?
        
        due to the power of her rune, her memory was wiped to keep herself save and to conceal her exsistance from the hierarchs and also for her to not remember the location of empyrion
        
        she was taken in by a family guard/housekeeper and cared for whom she now views as her father/grandfather

        Memories wiped at 12, only small flickers of memory come back ocassionaly (get triggered by something?)
        
        when there was a war between royals/ hierarchs( ?) the people came to help defend the royals. Lyo's dad was a soldier and saved her on that planet, thinking she was a workers child maybe? Her memory could have been wiped by her parents to protect her.
        
        Lyo's dad takes her home and she gets sort of adopted in that family. Maybe lyo's dad has like sustaining injuries from the war on the planet to remember him what he did for her
