is it WHAT leaders achieve that makes them
leaders?
examines how the "collective results" of an organisation can be put down to an individual leader
Leadership as Person
is it WHO leaders are that makes them leaders?
focuses on individual personality and qualities
Leadership as Process
is it HOW leaders get things done that makes
them leaders?
Based that people act differently to non-leaders ie people "act like leaders"
Leadership is associated with taking an organisation into the future, finding opportunities that are coming at it faster and faster and successfully exploiting those opportunities Kotter, J (2013)
