Culture
ECONOMIC GLOBALISATION has had an impact on culture by giving people of different cultures access to ideas, products, and services of other cultures. EG) restaurant chains, media forms, technology that allows access to social media
POLITICAL GLOBALISATION has had an impact on culture as it requires the promotion of cultural norms on a global platform. EG) the UN, the most powerful IGO, has a secondary body called the UNRA that protects refugees and also promotes the empowering of women. This may challenge socio-cultural dynamics and understandings in societies that may not view women as equals.
CULTURAL GLOBALISATION has an impact on culture as it is causing culture around the world to become increasingly homogenised. Homogenisation refers to the increase in westernised culture globally, such as the prevalence of western music, western culture norms, and increased use of english as a global language.
