Measurement of Concept
Conceptualization - Mental process by which fuzzy & imprecise constructs (concepts) & their constituent components are defined in concrete & precise terms.
Unidimensional - A construct that is expected to have a single underlying dimension. Weight & wind speed are examples.
Multidimensional - A construct that consists of two or more underlying dimensions. Academic attributes such as math & verbal ability are examples.

Levels of Measurement/Rating Scales - Refers to the values that an indicator can have. Stanley Smith Stevens defined the four generic types of rating scales in 1946.
