Care Plan 5 - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Nurse will administer PRN anti-epileptic medications for seizures longer than 2 minutes.
      - Nurse will educate patient on proper seizure action plan for spells at home after discharge.
      - Nurse will ensure close monitoring of seizure spells with EEG video
      - Nurse will instill seizure precautions by adding seizure pads to bed side rails.

      - Discharge Outcomes
        
        Goal for discharge outcomes is to be able to characterize the type of seizure spells and better tailor the medication to the type of seizure.
        
        Patient will leave hospital with better control over the epileptic spells.
