A financial manger is a person who takes care of all the important financial functions of an organization. The person in charge should maintain a far sightedness in order to ensure that the funds are utilized in the most efficient manner.His/Her actions directly affect the Profitability, growth and goodwill of the firm.
QUALIFICATIONS
Complete a bachelor degree in business, commerce, finance, accounting, economics or business administration. This usually takes three years of full-time study.
Consider advancing your skills with a relevant postgraduate degree in finance or a Master of Business Administration.
Many employers prefer candidates who have completed a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Account (CPA) qualification. Joining industry bodies such as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and Australian Finance Industry Association (AFIA) can also provide development opportunities that benefit your career.
Gain extensive experience in the industry, ideally in roles that focus on leading finance teams and processes.

SALARY
Starting salaries are between £25,000 to £35,000, though can be as high as £45,000 in the investment banking sector.
Qualified, mid-level finance managers with 5-10 years' experience usually earn an average of £55,000 to £65,000.
Senior financial managers, with around 10+ years' experience, earn £65,000 to £115,000+.
