major function of the reproduction system of a female
The female reproductive system consists of internal and external organs. It creates hormones and is responsible for fertility, menstruation and sexual activity.
anatomy of a male reproductive structure
The male reproductive system is mostly located outside of the body. These external organs include the penis, scrotum and testicles. Internal organs include the vas deferens, prostate and urethra. The male reproductive system is responsible for sexual function, as well as urination.
anatomy of a female reproductive structure
The female reproductive tract is all located within the pelvis. It is made up of the vulva, the vagina, the cervix, the uterus, the fallopian tubes and the ovaries. These organs are supported in the pelvis by ligaments. The vulva refers to the external female genitalia.
Contraception methods and classifications

There are three phases in the uterine cycle: menstruation, proliferative phase, and secretory (before period bleeding) (1). There are also three phases in the ovarian cycle: follicular (before ovulation), ovulation (when an egg is released from an ovary), and luteal (after ovulation)
dissorder of the repoduction system
Endometriosis is a problem affecting a woman’s uterus—the place where a baby grows when a woman is pregnant.
Sexual Violence (SV) is a significant problem in the United States. SV refers to sexual activity where consent is not obtained or freely given.
HIV is the human immunodeficiency virus. HIV affects specific cells of the immune system
STDs are infections that you can get from having sex with someone who has the infection.
CDC (gynecologic cancers) provides information and educational materials for women and health care providers to raise awareness about the five main gynecologic cancers
interstitial cystitis (IC) is a chronic bladder condition resulting in recurring discomfort or pain in the bladder or surrounding pelvic region.
Uterine fibroids are the most common noncancerous tumors in women of childbearing age
Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by infection with the Neisseria gonorrhoeae bacterium.
Polycystic ovary syndrome happens when a woman’s ovaries or adrenal glands produce more male hormones than normal.
Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is a condition that happens when there is too much of certain bacteria in the vagina
trichomoniasis (or “trich”) is a very common STD caused by infection with Trichomonas vaginalis (a protozoan parasite).
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum. Syphilis can cause serious health effects without adequate treatment.
Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) is an ulcerative disease of the genital area.[1] Its cause is the gram-negative bacteria Chlamydia trachomatis
Chlamydia is a common STD that can cause infection among both men and women
Chancroid is caused by the bacterium Haemophilus ducreyi and results in painful, superficial ulcers, often with regional lymphadenopathy.
major function of the reproduction system of a male
the function of the male reproductive system is to produce androgens such as testosterone that maintain male reproductive function and to promote spermatogenesis and transport into the female reproductive system for fertilization.
hormones of the reproductive system male
Three hormones are the principle regulators of the male reproductive system:
follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) stimulates spermatogenesis;
luteinizing hormone (LH) stimulates the production of testosterone;
testosterone stimulates the development of male secondary sex characteristics and spermatogenesis.
