1-Traditional Style
Advantages;
The teacher can see all the students during the exam
Teacher easily supervises the students
Disadvantages
Not suited for group and collaborative learning
Direct instruction which students often find boring is used
It is not student- centered
2-The Horseshoe
Students are arrenged in a u-shape
Advantages
Suited for discussions
There is more than enough space for activities
Disadvantages
Leads to copying
3-Small Groups(Group Pods)
The teacher's desk is in the front of the room and there are 4 groups
Advantages
The teacher can move freely and facilitate learning
Cooperative learning
Disadvantages
It can be a noisy environment and not all students participate equally
4-The Runway
The teacher's desk is in a corner, students facing one another
Advantages
Great for debates
Enough space for the teacher to move freely
Disadvantages
Leads to noise
Causes conflict among students
5-Paired Groups
Teacher desk in the corner, students desks are arrenged in groups of 2
Advantages
Great for peer tutoring
Disadvantages
Teacher movement is not as free as in small group order
6-The Roundtable
The desks form a circle and see each other.
For ice-breaking activity.
Disadvantages
Limited to discussion activities
It may be a problem for shy students
Advantages
Face to face interaction
Students feel like they are a part of the group
Creates inclusivity among students
