Josiah's Reforms

Removed from service all of the heathen priests who burned incense to the Canaanite pantheon from both Jerusalem to all of Judah

Broke down all the heathen alters, idols, high places, and groves round about Judah and burned on their remains the bones of their priests which Josiah executed
Reduced the temple of Molech in the valley of Hinnom to a landfill renamed Gehenna so "that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech"

Beat down Jeraboam's alter and polluted it and burned the bones of its priests on its remains as prophesied to Jeraboam himself

Josiah's Oath
Placed his hand on the Torah and swears to God and with Judah,

before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all [our] heart and all [our] soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book.
I, King Josiah, and my kingdom do solemnly swear...
