Government: the governing body of a nation, state, or community.
Democracy: people have the authority to deliberate and decide legislation, or to choose governing officials to do so
Dictatorship: characterized by a leader, or a group of leaders, who hold governmental powers with few to no limitations on them

10th Amendment: Powers not delegated to the US by the constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people
Political Science: the branch of knowledge that deals with systems of government; the analysis of political activity and behavior.
Parliamentary systems: Laws are made by majority vote of the legislature and signed by the head of state, who does not have an effective veto power.
