Is "woke" Culture weakening the military
Yes
Jobs being filled for diversity instead of Skill
a higher qualified service member will get rejected in a particular field due to their being an abundance of one gender, race, sex and instead give the position to a lesser skilled member to meet the diversity agenda
Lowering standards weakens the quality of well rounded fit individuals
Losing traditions to meet what politicians/civilians deem acceptable
Pinning, Shark attack, blood striping, 4 phase to boot camp instead of 3
some of these traditions sparked comradely and build a bond between service members so they were taken away as they seemed as hazing or degrading in the eyes of civilians
Civil Military relations
Must walk a fine path between the two to keep the military strong while still maintaining good order and discipline within the ranks
Politicians tend to talk down on the military by saying they need less funding and making changes causes the military life less of an honor to serve and more of a bad thing causing less people to want to join and making service members already in to retire or no reenlist
Some of the changes proposed and executed by the government makes it more appealing to todays youths
Politicians using the Military as an agenda to get vote from the civilian population but not understanding the use and purpose of some orders and standards causing disorder and trust issues between the politicians and service members
No
Recruitment issues
Military being depicted as masculine
Lowering standards to get more people eligible to recruit
Population of force grows while quality diminishes
making changes to score system for promotions is unfair due to transgender members having the attributes of a male getting better scores then the females and ultimately putting them ahead of non trans members
Equal opportunity
everyone has the right to equal opportunities regardless of gender, race, beliefs
older generations saying the changes aren't good telling their children and friends not to join while other others saying join because of the new changes what's good for some is not good for others
Adds Diversity
Having a more diverse population brings a wider point of view from different cultures and aspects of life, strategies, tactics
Lowering standards gets more people eligible to join the military
Politicians tend to listen to the civilian and use their wants as a way to gain votes for their campaign and making changes to the military to fit the needs and pubic view of the people
