Fear
Kristallnacht
Hitler spread fear to all Jews by destroying there places of buisness and homes. He used fear to make people confirm to society and used fear to spread ideas.

Holocuast
Holocaust in all spread fear to all Jewish people. This fear that spread caused people to flee their homes and go into hiding. Many changed their identity converting to conform to society.
Genocide
Genocide of any group causes fear to the targeted people. The killing of mass groups of people similiar to the holocaust and Armenian genocide spreads fear that cause people to change way of life to survive.
Hate and racism
Jewish people
Jewish people have seen much hate and racism from many groups. Most notably is the Nazis. Hitlers group the Nazis tortured and killed six million Jews.

George Floyd
George Floyd was a black man living Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was racially targeted and during a police stop was sat on by police. Once the police had been leaning on his neck for a good length of time, Floyd cried out "I can't breath!" repeatedly. The officer didn't listen, and Floyd couldn't breath, as a result, he unfortunately died. This shows how he was targeted based on his race
Asian Hate
Asians in the United States have been targeted in crimes and hate acts recently as even a few years ago due to the coronavirus pandemic and the virus originating in China. This sparked the movement "Stop Asian Hate" where all across the country people protested for hate against Asians to stop. This illustrates that racism towards Asians was happening, and people rose up to try and put an end to it.
Stereotyping
Colored people
Black people have been stereotyped for hundreds of years to be aggressive more prone to violence and many other hurtful ideas. These stereotypes oppress whole groups and describe millions of people with one idea. What causes stereotypes to be dangerous is that they never apply to everyone,, often times only applying to a small minority within the group.

Anti-Irish Sentiment
To justify the Norman Invasion of Ireland Giraldus Cambrensis spoke poorly of Henry II. Additionally, the Irish were Roman Catholic and remained of that religion despite push from the British to convert them to Protestants. The Brits also viewed the Irish all together as being a group that deserves hatred, a change in religion, etc. This exemplifies that the Irish were being stereotyped as although a possible small minority may have wanted to convert to a Protestant, it didn't mean the whole Ireland nationally had to convert as well.
Crash
The movie "Crash" was all about stereotyping. For example, Jean Cabot's main role in the movie was stereotyping others of different race or ethnicity, In one scene, she wanted to replace a lock after a Mexican worker had worked to replace their current lock. She didn't trust that the Mexican would make a copy of their key, the Mexican heard what Cabot said, and as a result, he left the key, telling her that she wasn't ever going to make a copy of it.

Italians for example are known for their love for pizza, Mexicans are known for mariachi bands and Mexican food dishes such as queso dip or salsa. One's culture and where they're from impact their identity as one can be very immersed in their culture. It can lead them to act a certain way or be interested in certain things.
The Bear that wasn't believed he wasn't a bear after repeatedly being told he wasn't one. It shows how he believed what he was told, which then became how he defined and identified himself.

Loyal, generous, kind, sincere, etc. All of these traits help to built one's identity and character. It makes them unique.

Obedience

Charles Manson
Blind obedience is listening to a leader and following their ideas without a thought of it. Charles Manson used his charisma to make people obedient to him with them being blind to the horrors they were really committing.

Leaders
The people of Italy in the early-mid 1900s were obedient to Mussolini and the same goes for Germany where the citizens were obedient to Hitler. These rulers used obedience to gain control.

Armenian Christians were targeted in a mass genocide. They were discriminated against and targeted as opposed to any other group in the Ottoman Empire. It showed discrimination on the largest scale, with anywhere from 600,000 to 1.5 million Armenian Christians dead.
African Americans were discriminated against in the United States in the 1900s as there were different bathrooms to use, different seats for them on the bus, and overall just less opportunities provided for them as they were being discriminated against.
In Nazi Germany in the mid 1900s Jews were being discriminated against. Their businesses for forced to close, they weren't allowed at restaurants. And even worse, many were killed. This was a result of discrimination against them enforced by the Nazi Party.
