Cost
The cost of a medium is usually expressed as the cost per thousand, meaning the cost of reaching 1000 people.
Frequency
Indicates how many times a consumer of the target group, on average, is expected to be exposed to the advertiser’s message within a specified time period.

Qualitative criteria to evaluate different media are the extent to which the medium is capable of building a brand image and a brand personality. The impact the medium has on the audience, how involved the audience are with the medium and, as a consequence, whether the audience are active or passive.
