Cheat Cut: A cheat cut contorts to show continuous time and space from shot to shot. A cheat cut is when the camera films from different angles of the same image.

Dissolve: A dissolve is a type of film transition where one sequence (or image) fades in over the other image.

Camera angels: where the camera is located, how close it is and the speed it is moving at

Dolly shot: A television and filmmaking technique that helps directors and cinematography add depth to a scene

Contrast: describes tones, specifically the relationship between the darkest and brightet parts of an image

Exposure: the amount of light that reaches your cameras sensor, creating visual data over a period of time

TERMINOLOGY
Blocking: Blocking refers to the movement and placement of actors during the film which is decided by the stage director or film maker
Set design: Set design is the design of how everything looks in that scene. It is carefully thought through by the set designer and makes the scene feel lively.
Lighting: The placement and use of lighting within a scene to create the feel of the scene, for example in inception when the lady walked into the room all the lamps were dimmed and colored brownish making it feel sad or depressed.
Framing: Framing is the position of the camera in each scene. This includes close-up shots, micro shots, wide shots, and many more! This is used to create different effects for the audience.
Depth of field: The distance between the closest and farthest objects in the frame that are in focus, which can be adjusted by the camera operator or director to create different effects.
Sound
TERMINOLOGY
Silent: when nothing is happening or there is a scene in a movie where they are being hunted and needs to sneak around and get out.
Vibration: The sound produced by it travels through the air which acts as the medium. when they pluck the strings of a guitar, it vibrates and produces sound.
Rattle: Is a quick, often unsteady, burst of sounds. The sound of a rattlesnake is a good example of a rattling.

Sound level meter: It responds to sound in approximately the same way as the human ear and gives objective, reproducible measurements of sound pressure levels
Sound level : the intensity of sound measured with a sound level meter and one of its weighting meters.
