Static Images - Lossless compression for consistent presentation.
TIFF
Static Images - Generally products that require high-quality printing. Lossless - results in large file sizes and high-quality images.
Video Files
MP4
Typically high quality videos. Lossy compression that strikes a balance between high quality and low file sizes.
AVI
Typically used to edit videos with high quality before exporting them. Uncompressed file that retains all the high quality details.
MPG
Requires fast speedy transferring. Lossy compression for faster loading.
Audio Files
WAV
Designed for Windows computer. Uncompressed so it retains the highest quality possible.

Most common file format used in radio sequences, songs, audio advertisements and much more. Lossy compression is for small file sizes makes it adaptable to ranges of devices and platforms making it easier to download.
Compression
Lossy - A form of compression that removes unnecessary information from a file in order to reduce the size of the file and make it easier to upload/download but it reduces its quality.
Lossless - A form of compression that keeps the information of the quality of a file completely intact, but the size of the file will remain even larger
Uncompressed - Where a file is expanded into its original size and this usually means quality is maintained.
Compressed - When a file is made smaller than its original size making download easier and allows more data to be stored.
