- - - - The attack happened due to a specific microsoft windows vulnerability. 80 out of 236 trusts were infected and another 595 GP practices were as well. The problem occurred due to the systems not being updated which is human error as if the system was updated the patch would have kicked in and prevented the attack. A solution to this problem is to pay this ransom and keep on top of updates with all software.
    - - The attack happened due to paypal eliminating access for unauthorised 3rd parties. During the downtime the 3rd parties were able to view and acquire personal information on certain paypal users. The exposed information includes name,address, social security number, tax id number and date of birth.
    - - The problem is that over 500 million people had their data leaked. The data was accessed by searching with a phone number through a contact importer. The data was also put onto a hacking website for people to access.
